sprayed the gunnels today to make them shine since they aren't walked on the top and above will still be aggressive orange peel for traction and i didn't have a good place to make a transition so the top sides have same aggressive pattern but it looks good :) i think, will be glad to be through the paint phase lol

Looking good. I feel for you. Paint phase is stressful.

Looking good Micky …. BTW, what size tent are you using? Even though I'm working inside a pole building, Thinking bout buying a cheep tent to use when I spray the final coat of gel on my hull and then when I (eventually) get around to painting the sides and top side. I like the idea of easy to put up / easy to take down. I'm hoping they make something 12" wide X bout 20 couple feet long.

10x20 my boat is same as yours i believe length wise without swim platform or pulpit :)

think its buffing out pretty nice , wet sanded all day yesterday lol

That nightmare is over , hopefully now i wont ever have to wetsand that much orange peel ever again lol reducing paint was the trick even the manifacture suggested up to 10 % , what i have sprayed since has layed down like it is supposed to

Yep that’s why I gave up on gell coating . The sanding was too much hassle . Nice shine ! What did you use to buff it out ?

Looks nice and glossy now!.....spraying that stuff in the FL heat, without any reducer must have been like spraying stucco lol...
