1988 stratos 266 fish and ski

Hello everyone, im new to the site, i have recently bought a 1988 stratos 266 fs, i want to replace the foam and floor which were soaked ,which the previous owner forgot to tell me, do i have to use the poor in foam ,or can i use the closed cell foam boards they sell at home depot, and what epoxy resin should i use, im on a limited budget,so the cheaper the better,thanks:facepalm:

Welcome to iBoats!

You can use the Plank Foam but for a Bass Boat, I'd prolly use the Pour In. I would Not recommend Epoxy. I'd go with Polyester Laminating Resin. Much more economical, faster and IMHO easier to use. Fiberglass , Epoxy , Composites, Carbon Fiber - U.S. Composites, Inc. is a good source for the Pour-In foam and the Polyester Resin.
