Update:

Happy New Years everyone!

So a few weeks ago, I gave the boat enclosure a new plastic skin for the winter....and today it finally felt like winter here. ...it topped at 40 deg outsidem but much warmer in the tent ;)

I took care of the last few tasks in the midsection bilge, I routed the wires from the ac panel to the engine room for the charging system. I also ran the cpvc back to where the water heater will be in the engine room. ...I ground out the midsection deck piece to fit the new cleats around the cut. and with a little help, I got the midsection deck set in place, fit like a glove.

I finally finished the house build at he shore, got the final as-built certs and C/O......have it under contract just waiting on a punch list from the buyers home inspection

So now in heading into a much needed break period, til I break ground on another development and most important, refruiting the money tree. Before I left, they were replenishing the dune right by me, so I hung around for a bit to watch all that, pretty amazing actually.

straight out of star wars lol

I wanted to drive that thing so bad!

Glad to see you got some time on the boat Zool! So educate me, what is that thing? my first guess was a suction dredge, but that doesn't seem right for something with wheels!

I don't really know what it does Arch, for a while, it was driving up and down the beach, Then it went into the water, it actually went further in than the pic shows.

My guess is its used by the surveyers, they kept the new dune at a level height 18 miles long

They kept a dredging ship just offshore, and a large pipe that blasted sand up pn the beach....felt like an endless series of small earthquakes....I had to re-spackle some seams that split afterwards....

Update:

Ok guys, happy spring!...So I spent the past month or so getting my life in order, and dealing with some health issues I have to work out....today I felt up to getting back out there and get the boat in order.

The enclosure is still fine.

It was a little hot in there, but no terrible, I opened the windows to get some cross flow and did a good general cleanup of everything I had left laying around. I also temp set the hatches in the mid-ship deck, so could walk around freely. There seems to be a problem with the forward cleat on the mid section deck joint, it sagged a
bit so ill have to revisit that, and adjust it or shim it.

While I was out there, I ground out the port transom seam to prep for cloth. I layed up 2 lams, one wrapping about 6" and the second around 12".

I cleaned up the helm area so after the engine bay is done, I can rig the systems back together before I seal the deck pieces back in permanently.

Thanks guys....ill be fine I think, they're just shifting me around to doctors to poke at me till they figure it out. I got some kind of nerve damage in the face...trigeminal neuralgia, just some pain and numbness.....more annoying than anything..its just whats causing it that they need to know to treat it.

The weathers getting good here, so working on the boat is refreshing...

Happy Easter everyone.
