1987 OMC Cobra Lower drive compatibility?

I have a 1987 Four Winns 210 Horizon with a 5.7L OMC Cobra engine. I am in need of a Lower stern drive unit for it. My question is, what years are compatible? I have found a nice used unit from a 94 model, but am not sure if it will work. The pictures that the owner sent look to be indentical, but I am having trouble finding out for certain. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

The gear ratio is in the upper so it should be fine.
