Hello I have a 1987 mercury 20XD and this may be a dumb question but how do you set the idle on it? It idles a little bit high and I don't really know how to adjust it. Thanks!
Is this a tiller motor if it is. Up by the recoil safety you will see a screw with no head on it should be slotted for a screwdriver. That is your idle adjustment screw. It is right above the throttle and shift pulleys.
