1986 volvo four cyl

i ave a 1986 volvo four cyl on a 275 volvo outdrive. if i try o push motor over 3000 rpm oil gushes out of the blowby tube going to the breather. motor wont go over 4000 rpm. anybody know whats going on?

Do a compression and leak down test, that should answer the guestion.
