Pretty dirty but the butterfly is perfect.

Get the kit and rebuild it. Red lines indicate where you can tap the nut to get it off. The tapping will leave a mark and that will tell you how to put it back the same way. The linkage on the left side will just pull out of the plastic socket if you pull gently on it. Pull off the primer tube that goes to the brass nipple and the main fuel line in ny-tied to the bottom. Cut the tie off and remove fuel line.

Put in on a clean bench on a couple of paper towels. Idle circuit needle is my second mark. Screw that out completely. Make sure needle screw looks good...not bent or gouged. There will be a little red seal in there, remove and replace after cleaning. 4 screws hold the bowl on...remove them. Set seals aside. Remove float assembly, seat and needle. The kit will have all of that. Play around with air, carb cleaner and small pokers. Get familiar with all the orifices and make sure their all clean. Everything should be spotless.

When you put everything back make sure the float sits perfectly flat to the carb body when turned upside down. You have to bend it slightly if it not. Take the main idle screw and screw it in until it's slightly seated. Once you do that turn it counter clockwise one and a half turns. That should get you close.

While off, check butterfly valve and make sure it's open correctly.

Get that far and we can talk more. (Link and sync.)

I would run it anymore, get that carb off because it needs help I guarantee it.

Yeah it is pretty dirty and not surprising to be honest. I've already got the rebuild kit, just waiting for the time to deal with it. Thank you for the info so far.
