1985 Yam ETK 90hp

Hello: I replaced oil pump on 1985 Yam ETK 90.
Oil pump cam(?) shaft busted/chipped end and oil was spewing out at linkage end of assembly.
There is a brass screw looks like carb drain screw on upper side of pump.
Is this a port for to remove air or a priming access, and or do I need to prime pump?

A failed oil pump could lead to expensive issues.----Do a compression test and post the numbers.

Did comp test all 3 cyl. 118 no problem... what about priming oil pump + lines?

Add some oil to your fuel tank until you get the oil pump sorted out….to protect motor

yes. That is a bleed screw.
