1985 OMC outdrive Cobra?

The outdrive in the photo is a 1985 OMC.

It has a sector gear with a pinion for tilt. The pinion is missing. Is this part still available or is the whole thing obsolete?

Well first of all it isn't a Cobra. No Cobras until 1986. (And they are obsolete too)

You might contact these people and see if they can either get the parts or they have a used one etc.

both the gear and snap ring to hold it on are available at any Evinrude dealer

always lots of those gears on eBay too... usually $25 or so
