Hi .... I have a question .... the 2 lower motor mounts are worn. It's not affecting the steering control & I'm not having any vibration problems. The dealer wants $600 to replace them. On my last couple of outings I noticed going from forward to reverse the bottom kicks up slightly. My concern is: can the bad mounts allow the motor to literally fall off or are the mounts designed to prevent that ?? I don't want to "sink" it, but if it's safe to continue using it I see no sense in spending that kind of money on it. That's more than it's worth !! Any help and advice would be much appreciated. Thank you.
