1980 Chris Craft 261 ...what?

I just purchased a Chris Craft 261 single inboard but I can't find the model name anywhere. The title just has the Model field blank and the owner thought it's a Commander (most Commanders I come across are much larger than 26'). Anyone have any clues on what this thing is???

how much did you pay for it? where did it come from? i got mine on ebay for $1550 in rhode island and shipped it to ohio to lake erie
