Built a new gauge pod smaller than the one I was going to use, gives me more room on the console for a fishfinder and I'm only going to need 4 gauges anyway IMG_7468.jpgIMG_7471.jpgIMG_7475.jpgIMG_7479.jpg IMG_7481.jpg

Real nice job John, what did you use for the front edge of the aluminum top?

Thanks Glen, how you feeling, good I hope, actually I wrapped the whole top shell with 1/8 foam glued on, the same foam they use for laminate flooring, then glued and wrapped the vinyl over it that gave the front edge a little thickness, also the rivets hardly show on the top.

Thanks Jason guess I'll have to worry about that next time I make spaghetti actually the reason I used that aluminum is it was a fairly thin gauge and easy to form.

Now that looks good! In fact it looks store bought. Nice job. :thumb: I'll withhold eyebrow comments since some of our Northern neighbors were offended the last time. But I do like "sunshield" over the arc above the gauges.
