Upon rebuilding the 2 carbs on this motor I see they are missing the venturi's. Are these a must have or will the motor run okay without having to spend 20.00 each for the venturi's.
Some say not a problem but others think they should be on there. I put mine back on after having them gone. Found them in the splash well. If you have your carbs apart it should be easy to mount them (relatively speaking) If the carbs are back together and mounted, I would take it for a test run without. Should be OK.
I understand that and if they were available instead of NLA I would buy them no question asked, but since after 2 months of trying every boating place and ebay etc and no luck I was hoping that it was usable without them. Not trying to bypass anything just trying to get running. What purpose do the baffles serve?
