1979 Johnson 115hp - tell tale?

Does this outboard have a tell tale? I just replaced the water pump on this new to me motor but when I started it on the muffs I didn't see the typical stream of water shooting out that I do on my Murcury. Does this motor not have a tell tale or do I need to double check my impeller install?

No help guys??? I don't think there is a tell tale as I am fairly certain I replaced the impeller properly, I am just looking for confirmation. I do see a nipple on the cowling down low that has a hose from the bottom of the block to the nipple. Is this a vent of some sort for the block or could this be where I should have a tell tale? The part number is 0321885 - Nipple - Overboard Indicator if this helps.

No, that's your tell tale. It could be plugged up in the hose or the connection on the block. When you get it working , get a hose the same size and long enough to run it over the top of the block and then down to the outlet. This helps keep any air pockets out of the block.
