Hi guys my wood trim on the bow and around the dash is faded looking I wondering what kind of wood it is so I can correctly bring it back to life

Can you post some pics so we can get a look. I found a few images of '79 Crestliner Crusaders, but couldn't get a good look at the wood. Are you sure it is actually wood, and not a plywood product? There are a number of options for 'unfading' wood, ranging from sanding and refinishing, to refinishing, to replacing.
