Very nice DJ, looks like a pretty good match to the exterior colors.

Seat look real good DJ, but they would look way better bolted into the V5:facepalm:

I think they would look better with Dave's tushy settled into them, at the helm and motoring on the lake. :D

I know this is getting old and repetitive, but it is progress...

More hull sanding. Started on the port side tonight and got quite a bit done...

MBS (again).

Yeah, it's a glasser, but it's in great shape for a '95, and I know all its quirks and history cause it was my in-laws. Got a good deal. It's a fun little boat. Last Saturday we went out with it and Lake Michigan was like glass which is rare. We did a 55 mile ride in a 17' boat. It was awesome!

Anyway it helped the motivation for working on the SS!

When you start to itch, the urge to finish the SS will kick you in the behind. :)

Nice, clean ( I hate to say) BR glasser. See what havoc MBS reeks. Knowing the history goes a long way.

I'm done sanding glue off!!! No fun at all. Looking back, when she was a bare shell, I should have had it soda blasted, inside and out. Oh we'll...on to better things now....

Still have a little vacuuming to do tonight...

Tonight I lifted the motor back off to give me better access for the vinyl/carpet job coming up and to reassemble the cowls and stuff...

Pulled her out for some fresh air (and to sweep the garage)

Here is a shot of an almost glue-less hull...

I got a little smoothing still to do on the deck and some thinking how to trim out (fasten the edges) of the vinyl around the back. Then I can start cutting vinyl!

Man, what a sharp looking hull Dave, very nice paint work right there buddy!:thumb:

Thanks. It looks nice in person too...happy with that.

I had a little time tonight, so I worked on fitting the aft most deck pieces. I needed to do some notching and cut two more access plate holes.

Port side before..

SB side before...

Doing some jigsaw-ing...

I got 5 Bomar access plates in grey off fleabay for $45 a while back. They'll match my grey vinyl about perfect so I'll be able to see the bilge between all the stringers, and get to my fuel tank sender. This weekend I'll rivet those last two deck pieces in and glass/epoxy the seam so it's all flush.

Nice work. Those seats are going to look great in the boat. You've been busy.

How did you find Sanibel island. You wouldn't happen to have any pics would you. We did Orlando and Madeira Beach, Anna Maria Island, etc last summer.

I do, I'll see if I can put a photobucket album together this weekend....

My aunt and uncle have a place on Sanibel. They are not there in the summer so we stayed at their place.
