Thanks Rob, yes quite a bit more challenging, but the hard parts done, got the rear end caps fabricated and transom cover moldings finished with diamond plate.
Nice support addition, good plan to add that when you don't have the center support that comes with the SS. That drop between the bow deck and base deck was too much for me on my SS so I added a step mid-way between the consoles.
Got the front and rear decks cut out and sealed with spar, 3 coats first with 1 part spar, 1 part boiled linseed oil, 2 parts mineral spirits, then 2 coats straight spar varnish, 1 more coat straight spar tomorrow then marine carpet.
I will be coming to see you probably in the next two weeks about vinyl, carpet and glue. I am super close to finishing the paint job on my boat, after that the vinyl and carpet.
Moving right along there, you guys should have her water ready with a bit of summertime left. Sure made a more useful fishing boat out of the old Holly, way more valuable is it's current config over a closed bow run about.
