O.K. I found out how to test the rectifier, all though I tried to test it with a basic digital tester. When I did that I did not get any readings. I found another post which mentioned that a tester which test diodes is necessary. I purchased one and found out the rectifier is bad. I bought a new rectifier and will be going out this weekend, so we shall see. Thank you.
