can some help out sucking air where butterfly passes through carb body can this be repaired if so how 1978 evinrude 140 outboard thanks frank

Usually it is the brass shaft that wears and it can be replaced I think.

thanks ill try to get them do u think i can tackle new motor mounts im pretty handy

The brass shaft is part is part of the throttle body and you'd have to get the whole body.

Are you looking at replacing both the upper and lower engine mounts? Neither job is a piece of cake.
