Re: 1978 Bayliner Quartermaster restoration
Thanks Glenn.
Well I want to replace the fuel inlet hose and vent hose. I need to mount the bilge pump and install the fuel float and pick up tube. Hook up the fuel filter. Hook up the bonding wires for the fuel tank. Install the registration numbers. I also need to decide whether or not to try and use my old bilge vents or try and make some new custom ones. This boat does not have a standard vent. It is a long skinny one, and I have not seen them anywhere. I thought about molding them but the cost of materials kinda out ways that option.
I stopped at the DMV to see what it was going to cost to register the boat and trailer today. Under $100. So I'm thinking two to maybe four weeks till launch. Oh and I have to refurbuish the flame arrestor box. I shouldn't have put it on. I had to clean the jets out on the carbs; because after cleaning it up. It still had some fine particals of rust in it.
And then a few little things. Plus I'm already going over the accessories in my mind for B-day and Fathers day ect.. Lol
