Re: 1977 Starcraft Supersport

Today my wife and kids went and got us a puppy. She is a 7 week old bull mastiff. From the pictures my wife sent it appears my two year old son is in love.

Your new puppy will soon weigh 145lbs and consume 50lbs of food a week. :joyous: He looks awesome.

They're so cute when they are small. That lasts about 15 and a half minutes, then just like 64 said. :joyous: Doggie rides coming up.

Reminds me of when we got a Basset Hound puppy. About 4 pounds and was outweighed by our Tiny Toy Poodle by 6 pounds. The poodle loved pushing him around for a couple of weeks and suddenly realized he wasn't the big dog any more. Now that was funny!

The kids named her Rosie. She will be a good addition to our family. Our kids were in love at first sight.

Re: 1977 Starcraft Supersport

I have got to do a little work on the boat the last few days. I ended up sanding down the paint I sprayed since it didnt turn out very well. I re-shot primer up in the bow. I have two coats now. Ill sand that wit 400 grit and if I dont sand through Ill shoot the color. I ended up buying a different gun and it seems to work much better. Hopefully I can get this whole painting thing down before moving on to the outside.

Well work has gotten in the way of any boat progress. I did get the garage cleaned out and somewhat organized so when I'm ready I can pull the SS back out of storage and start working on it agaim. I also need to get caught up on everybody elses projects since I havn't had much Iboats time lately either.

Re: 1977 Starcraft Supersport

We were going through some hard times financially and I ended up having to sell the boat. It was not an easy choice to make but needed to be done. Someday when the time is right I will find another. I have been working two full time jobs for about a month now so have been keeping busy. Hope everyone is doing well.

Glad to see you still hangin' around Drew! It's just too bad that it isn't under better circumstances :(

Best of luck to ya man! It's not a question of "If" but rather "When" we'll see you back on here with another tin-project! :thumb:

Re: 1977 Starcraft Supersport

keep an eye out for a 12-14' skiff that needs love. the sort of thing you can buy for 150 and run forever on a gallon or 3. and don't be a stranger......you can keep up here whether you got a boat or no.
