Re: 1977 Hydroglass Bass Boat w/1976 Evinrude 75hp
Welcome aboard, brown 93...
Older fiberglass boats have a very real tendency to have a lot, if not most of the sub-structural wood turned into mulch...its called rot...
The only way for you to be sure is to take some core samples from as far down and back of the boat as you possibly can...drill some holes in the stringers, deck, and transom...you do not need to go all the way through, especially the transom...just deep enough to see the condition of the shavings...dark and wet...NO Good

...light and dry, Excellent
Make sure you perform all the necessary maintenance on the engine before using or running it...post up or do a search in the Evinrude engine forum for information on what you should do...
Read through this link for info on how to best post up your pics...the other choice is to get a free photobucket account, load your pics there, then click the IMG tag and post them here...really the best way for us to see what you see...
The only hope you might have as far as getting info on your particular boat is to do a thorough search on the net for anything related to bass boats, until you come up with what you are looking for...unfortunately, a lot of these older companies are no longer in business and probably went out of business way before the internet became a popular place to get info/history on stuff...so, it is a shot in the dark to find the info you need...
Good Luck and Happy Boating!
