I have a 2003 90HP Johnson, runs and idles good. Go to take off by giving full throttle and it cuts out and coughs. Sometimes runs good, sometimes cuts out. Also starting to do it at high speed. Any ideas? Some say it's the fuel pump, but how can I check the fuel pump before buying one as they say the run $450-500?
