Does anyone else have this motor and if so can you tell me where to look for the ''tell-tale''? I haven't seen one on my motor. Wondering if there is one and it is just clogged.
Do I really need one? I mean I never start the motor unless it is sitting in the water or have the ''ears'' on it. I was just curious if I was missing something after seeing a boat go by at the ramp with one. Of course it was a newer motor. Thanks for the replies.
I have installed a lot of tell-tales on older engines, it gives you a visual indication of the water pump operation. If you don't have one make sure and test you overheat horn on a regular basis.
