1976 Evinrude Motor part?

here is my puller.... I installed some inverted nylon lock nuts to keep me from screwing the bolts to deep in the flywheel and hitting parts under it.

I use a small 1/4 inch impact driver & socket to pop the FW

OMC pullers are even better but for us occasionnal users these harmonic pullers are fine at $30 or so

you will do fine ...did you download and the johnson 400 page service manual aka red book
it contains all you need to know on these oldies

check your PM's (small enveloppe top right)

May want to start with a few simple tools and then move up before moving up to harder stuff.....just saying.

Perhaps a spark plug tester. Hopefully you have spark and if you correct the gas shooting all over maybe it will start.

Pretty sure that little motor is going to need a few more items but you never know.

For sure! I just put new ones in there so I haven't even thought to test them but it obviously means something if there no spark... thank you! I'm learning. Before it's all over and done with people will be bringing me there bad motors to fix lol!
