my 76 johnson will not start i put gas in with the spark plugs then it will start for a second or if i put gas in the card it also starts for a second what could i do.
Sounds like you have a fuel delivery problem. Does the primer bulb pump up firm? Is fuel getting to the carb? How long since the carb has been serviced?
