As you can see in the first picture I have gutted basically everything the only things I still had to remove were the transum and engine . The second picture shows the transum and rear (deck) removed and of course the engine removed also . Second picture the new floor is down with new foam under.

Please don't use starting fluid again on that motor. It's real bad for 2 strokes and completely strips them of their lubrication. In the future if it needs a little help, some mixed gas in a squirt bottle works fine. Good luck with the rest of your rebuild.

First I only used a small amount of starter fluid just to get it to pop , second it was hooked up to mixed fuel at the time . Ive had many boats over the yrs and a small amount of starter fluid will not hurt a thing espically when the engine is hooked up to mixed fuel .
