1975 Evinrude model # 25553B

I am looking for some info on this motor...had some problems with it on the lake the first time I took it out after buying it cause of overheating and found out I am missing the water tube that goes from the impeller housing but I was curious where the top end of the tube goes?

Help would be appreciated thanks!

Maybe THIS picture will help? Look at #114 at the bottom of the exhaust housing.
