I am sure someone has answered this question before but were can I look up the HIN to get the Model I have three StarCraft in the 1970's all 18' one inboard two with out boards. I plan to restore two of them and part out the other. I can not find anything to tell me the model,

Www.hindecoder.com will give you a year, but not model, that doesn't exist like cars VIN decoding

But if they are early 70s they're pre-hin and only have Serial #s which also don't decode

The one I bought today has a number on it and the title matches it STR22218M73H the title says its a 1973 18' Boat type 1. Its an inboard Mercruiser
