1973 Arrow Glass 19ft Center Console...stringers, sole, transom rebuild

Picked up this beauty for the right price of $120 boat and trailer with 3 brand spankin new rim/tire combo! Gonna demo the interior, install new stringers and transom. The boat came with 3 pretty large "under floor storage" coffins that will be reused. Going to build and install a much smaller steering console than the original design. Keeping it simple. Wanting to redo the aft to hold 2 built in coolers....maybe.?.? Here are some pics of the current progress.

I have the original center console if anyone would like it...come get it. Im in Frisco, TX It's not in the best shape but the form is all there.

Pulling out the fuel tank it's brand new! 35 gallon from Cabellas......sticker tag still on it. The person I bought it from just wanted the motor.... I can't find any info on a '73 Arrow Glass center console that "looks" like this one.

The port stringer was half decayed while the other was solid. First time I ever encountered that. Going to clean up all the "wet wood" and stiffen it all up with new lumber. Drop under floor storage coffins and pour foam around it all. SOLID!

Sounds like it'll be worth it in the end...question-what kind of foam will you use and is it costly? Im redoing a 19 foot cuddy right now and was thinking about using foam but dont wanna spend too much.

Funny about your statement about kids football game...I have the same situation! 3 practices and 1 game a week..it's tough to find time for the boat. 7 years old though wouldn't miss the games even if he'd let me lol.

2 part foam in the 4lb density. I think about 3 gallons of part A and 3 gallons of B will do the job.

You only need the 2# foam. 4# is way overkill IMHO.

My thought process with the 4lb is that it will hold more weight as sole support then the 2lb. When I tore it all apart someone had all kinds of 2x4's for additional support. Now if you say 2......I don't question. 2lb it is.
