Thank you to the many, many helpful post's that this phenomenal site offers. Today I started on this meticulous project. I have many ideas from helpful members best one I like is the casting deck/ live well in the bow. I am going to take many pic's and be as detailed as possible. At the moment I have just removed the transom and a section of flooring. I am going with untreated marine plywood encapsulated by epoxy resin, with final coat being varnish for the transom. It will be accompanied with a 1987 90hp mercury. Not sure yet for decking, but thinking untreated exterior, also coated with epoxy & varnish. I hope to have structural repairs done this month. Maybe I'm being crazy thinking such a feat is possible in 30 days with 3 kids, work full time and wife is a nurse working various hours lol.... but I'm going to give her my best. That will explain the delays in progress/ posting. Again this site is absolutely amazing, and thank you for welcoming me aboard.

Thank you italian, i downloaded but says file doesn't exist. I have many pictures i will upload as soon as possible. However, 4hrs a day for 3 days i have it totally stripped and vaccumed. I am going to do the rivet leak test tomorrow, still waiting on my epoxy resin to start the transom and floors. I also pulled out my splashwell to have a couple cracks welded up, that's being done friday 😀😀😀. All this is amazing, so many things learned and a plethora of post's to gather amazing knowledge! Along with suggestions from all us members. I will post pics soon.

:welcome: aboard and to the Starmada,

We love to see the very popular SS remade into a fishing boat, I'm doing the same right now.

Some overall pics of the boat would be great to see what you're starting out with.
