First boat. I had help removing the lower end to replace the water pump. My helper removed the impeller from the housing before I could see what direction the arms bent. Where can I find this information?
Simple logic. The shaft rotates clockwise, looking down from the top. The impeller vanes trail behind. It wouldn't make sense for them to stick out ahead.
If you get it wrong it doesnt really matter as the vanes will bend over and trail properly. You can put a touch of grease on the arms and then gently turn the motor clockwise by hand, ive never had an issue
