65esl-72s is model number wondering why there is a shift available on engine for choke adjustments my model can be on/off/manual what is reason. i have choke on throttle up front what should one in back be set to? any help would be appreciated
If you have to hand crank the engine (dead battery), you will have to set the choke manually to on. When the engine starts you have to manually take the choke off. To use the automatic choke you should set the manual choke to the middle position (off). Have some one work the choke switch and watch the choke and see if it closes the choke plates in the carbs.
