I just recently aquired a 1970 35hp Chrysler model# 355HA. I was informed from previous owner that motor had not been run in approx. 2 years but was fully winterized prior to non-use. I have gotten motor running good, but as I run in a large drum of water I see no sign of water exiting lower unit. I am thinking impeller but before I tear into it, I was not sure if there is a thermostat on this motor? If so, is it possible I'm not getting motor warm enough to flow water. I assume the clear hose on rear left side of engine is a water hose. I see condensation in hose but when disconnected all I feel is warm air pumping through. I have ordered a repair manual but it still maybe a few days before I get it. Any imput would be greatly appreciated.
