saw a post about this and followed the inst..no fire from the coil wire when cranking ..but if I ground the points wire(blk-wht) I get a spark from the coil wire to a ground..this is a new old stock amplifier it was still in the box..it has been superceded many times but I figured I would try it ..it was only $50..if I'm not getting fire from the coil does that mean this box is bad?? anyone know about this model? sierra part#18-5749 (383299) any advise would be hugely appreciated
