You are looking at the " cool " side of the block.----Scoring will likely be worse on the exhaust side.---Take it apart and evaluate / learn about these motors.------Finding a good used block is easy.-----At least easy for me.-----Find----aomci----website and post a wanted ad there.

Sounds good I will inspect more, maybe try a new gasket and see if compression changes considering it’s only 30$ for one. I will do that and if it doesn’t work I’ll go deeper into the engine and post an update, for now thank you and goodbye

Hope is eternal.----I believe this motor needs major work.-----Save the new gasket for when you assemble with good parts.
