No pressure treated in tin boats the chemicals will give you corrosion problems.

I wouldn't recommend the muggyweld stuff either as you run a good chance of frying the sealant in those seams close by and causing more headaches trying to get them to seal afterwards. Not to mention inviting cracks.

Not sure of what you have that was patched but if you remove the old patch and get the area cleaned up, then post some pics of both sides we can surely help get a lasting patch figured for you.

Treated ply is a no go for these AL boats and cause it's untimely death. Exterior grade will be just fine once sealed up and really as far as marine grade ply goes it's definitely not 100% better than regular exterior grade as the price suggests.

That patch is very odd, unbucked rivets? Slathered in some sort of epoxy? My SN has a similar repair in almost the same location that was a welded on patch with steel rivets I had to drill out. There's no limit to the ugly stuff people do to these boats without thinking or researching. Most of the advice given here is from experience with tried and true methods.
