I'm trying to find out what the idle speed and minimum shift speed is in my 1967 OMC 155, with the V-6. I had it all wrote down somewhere, and I guess I ate it.
IDK the specifics for your model, but with my electric shift I try to get the idle as low as possible for shifting, you dont want it clunking into gear with a high idle, you will bust a shift spring in no time.
I was wanting to say lo idle was 650 and not to shift over 850. Was hoping somebody on here could help out. I do remember not to ever shift over 1000 rpm.
