They are good idea and i want to explore them all. Jas, does the masonite have the same ill effects on aluminum that pressure treated does? Just making sure.

Irishmedic, I agree with leaving it open... with young kids I want plenty of room and I don't want any decks. That why I bought the deep hull design. Thanks again for all your suggestions.

The Masonite does not have any effect on the aluminum (e.g., galvanic corrosion). It has been in Sea Nymph #1 for at least 20 years. The top was painted white so it doesn't look too bad. It's regularly been soaked (our boat sits out uncovered when we're at our cabin) and it dries out and looks fine. It won't win any prizes for being a show boat, but the Masonite works very well.
