1965 Merc Thunderbolt 50HP won't fire

I picked up this 65' Merc 50hp thunderbolt this past weekend and can't seem to get it going.

The compression on all 4 cylinders is about 130 all around, I checked the plugs, and they still spark. I even tried squirting some gas in the cylinders and nothing. I'm going to try taking apart the carb cleaning it out and see what happens.

Anybody got any Ideas?
