I think I put the plug wires back in the wrong order. Is this an issue? I guess I will find out when I crank it over

Yes it won't start or backfire when trying.

Just for the record, the firing order is 1-2-3-4. Cylinders are numbered if their order from the top. In other words, the highest one is #1. Next one down is #2 and is on the other bank (side). Back to the first bank for #3, and finally to the other bank for #4
