Thanks Dale. Yeah, it took me a minute to get back interested in finishing the project, but I'm glad I didn't give up on it. And here's a couple of photos of how the color scheme is coming together. I was able to wrap the dash in the same vinyl of the seats.

Red, white, black classic color scheme for a reason. Keep doing the little touches like the dash and she's gonna be sharp.

Looks good, I think when I do mine I am going to go Corvette Yellow, White and Black trim accents. Yours is going to look great, looking forward to seeing the finished product!

Thanks everyone for the comments. Here's a couple of more photos of the progress. Got the gauges and steering wheel back on.

Paint looks good. Sucks that you had a setback, but in the end it's nice to see it coming together. Also that dash looks awesome. She's gonna be a real looker when you're finished.

Got to do a little work on the boat over the past month. Here a few pics of the progress:

Control Box and Junction Box Installed - I recreated the decals and had them printed online.

This is where I currently am with the project. I'm actually down to my last few tasks to be completed with the project. I'm going to try to get the seats fully installed and the motor back on in the next couple of weeks. Then once it warms up again I can completed the finishing touches. I should be able to SPLASH it in the Spring 2016. This has been a fun project. I'll probably post another update once I have the motor on and then one more when I finally get it in the water.

Here's a couple more pics:

I think she is turning out real nice. Good luck on the rest of the work, and on an early spring splash.

Wow, she is really a beauty! You have achieved a lot in less than a year. I really love the bow cleat. You maybe already know this but it was made by a small company called Nautalloy. The design was created by a czech immigrant named Tom Faul. He also designed and sold steering wheels to many boat manufacturers. Google his name and nautalloy, to see his 1960 product catalog. Just passing it along.

Great job and total self reliance, even the upholstery!

Thanks guys for the comments and encouraging words. I'm down to my last five tasks to be complete (1 major, 4 minor). I'm going to try to get the motor back on before the end of the year, then I'll take care of the 4 minor things in the spring. It been a fun project and I've learned a lot. Can't wait to get it in the water and start on the next project.

Excellent job on the restoration. I have a MirrorCraft that I plan to restore over the winter. I've had it a year and a half and am very pleased with the way it was constructed.
