1964 johnson 90hp - starter stuck engaged

it wont start because the starter stays up on the flywheel. I just changed the points and condensor. could that have something to do with it?
It was getting very loud while cranking.

Points and condesnsor will have nothing to do with the starter bendix sticking.

Try a few drops of light oil on the starter shaft.
