1964 alumacraft alpex

hi, i have recently purchased a 1964 alpex bali by alumacraft, 15ft fiberglass. i have redone the trailer and alot of the motor, now would like to move onto the boat. i really like the styling of this boat and would like to use it for years to come. i am just curious on what it would take to do some glass and gelcoat repair on it to enhance the look of it and keep it water safe. the gel coat has quite a few hairline cracks in the hull at the bottom that im not sure about structurally, if they are something to be worried about? plan on maybe repairing them over winter? i just want some of your inputs on the work involved and maybe some tips as to reparing the cracks and checking the structure of the fiberglass, as i am new to the fiberglass world. will post pics soon.

Please post pics. Our family used to have an Alpex and I would love see another one. I have only seen one on the internet since my grandparents sold it years ago.
In fact I think I may still have a copy of the title.
I learned to ski behind it when I was a kid.

It was green and white with a 65 horse johnson.

sorry i'm rambling. But this post got me excited.
