I like blue for a trailer. Always looks nice when someone paints one blue.

Thanks for the input guys. I let the wife in on the picking of color and she chose ( drum roll please) gloss black so to let her have some ownership in the restore I am going black:cool:

Good idea FS. I think a long red arrow down the side with starcraft written in it would look good. I may try that:D

Hey now that you mention it I could hide in there and take a nap;). I also see how dirty it really is after painting it.

May i STRONGLY suggest you paint your trialer WHITE.

Many in the trialer forums have suggested NOT to paint trialers black.
1. at night and in the evenings they are hard to see. So if launching or pulling out after dark, it will be difficult to see whats going on.
2. you will smack your shins 5,000 times on the trailer when its black, cursing the black paint out for ever.

See my trialer pics. I started the trialer and finished in 1 month working monday thru thursday a couple hours a night.
see my before and after pics . .i have many more here .

both before and after pics were taken in low light. Not on purpose . so you see what i mean .. i am SOO happy i chose white.

I was actually thinking the same thing about the black trailer. Your paint is looking good.

Re: 1963 16 ft Starcraft Jupiter restoration

Hello all, just a little update as I am waiting for the paint to get good and dry before I flip it. I am doing some trim pieces and painting the inside of the hull while its in turtle mode and I did not know how dirty it was until I started painting it.

I am also just about finished with the trailer. I know I know I went against the popular vote and went with black but hey the fenders will be white:D.
