I am haveing problems keeping my motor running at idle, can someone help?

Not without more information. What is the compression like? Will the spark jump a 1/4" gap? How are the points, condensers and coils? Have you tried re-adjusting the idle knob?

Most carburetor problems...aren't.

compression is great, spark plugs in excellent condition, and fuel pump is new. and it is time tell the truth i dont know what the setting for the carb is as far as the high and low knobs.

and the carb is rebuilt.

carb setting, pick the one that fits your motor.

you need to do it on the water for it to be right.
