1960/1969 fuel mix

Can i run my 1969 6hp on the 24:1 that I use on my 1960 5.5? My 5.5 is my primary if it goes down I'd hate to keep a separate fuel tank of 50:1 on hand.

Of course, in fact that is what I would run the 6hp on anyways.

Certainly. The extra oil won't hurt it.

+3. I run 24:1 in my '66 and have never had a problem. It smokes a bit in the test tank, but hardly any on the open water.
