Thanks Guys! I'm down for the moment as I am restoring a little 18hp Twin on the back to pull the kids around a small HP limit lake in the next few weeks.
Sadly the weight issue and gas usage with the 50 are killing the family enjoyment and may have to sell for a different motor. Plan to shoot some video next week!

Its kinda like taking the riding mower for a spin out on the highway, but the little 18 is on and wired. Wife wasn't a big fan of the factory color, so I made some changes in the spray booth and shot the lower unit a silver, similar in tone to the factory blue and left the blueish top stripe off the cover. Paint came out nice, but I'm sure the collector guys will hate but looks a little better on my boat. Also made a nice little harness tor wiring, waiting on a wire cover. IMG_9187.jpg IMG_9188.jpg

Really nice! I love the way old outboards have a more industrial look to them yet have a style and elegance new outboards lack.
