My first restoration project, but without id plate, do not know year or model, guessing that it's a jet star based upon pictures on here, including some of the brochures listed. It's a 15 foot; any information or help will be appreciated. Thanks!

Re: 1959-60's Starcraft Jetstar-help w/identifying year & model?

Is it 15' or 14' 6"/14' 9"? Width of the transom & the max beam (usually across at the helm) along w/ the length can help ID a year.

There are only a handful of years & models it could be. The 3 knee braces & flat hull at the transom can help narrow it down too.

It didn't come w/ title & registration? If not, are they easy to get in SC? You don't want to spend any money working on it if you can't establish legal ownership.

Did it come w/ a motor? a 40 or 50hp will be plenty to get a light weight tinny on plane.

Look thru some of the Jet/Jet Star resto's here:
Starcraft Rebuilds and Restorations, they're all here!

Lots of good stuff for tin boats in all those threads.......

Welcome to the iboats dry dock, tin division.
