I recently bought a 1957 Fleetwin 7.5 and noticed gear oil coming out under the base of the water pump after I had removed the top cover, impeller, and steel flat plate. This bottom piece was the piece that the flat plate sat on and there was another gasket underneath which is where the leak was at. I pried up on the base piece only to break it. I am left with the base and a big hole in the middle of it.There was a driveshaft seal and bushing left on the shaft that appeared to be formally attatched to that water pump base. I ordered a new waterpump kit from NAPA. I know it has the flat plate and top cover, but will it have this base??? The part number of the bushing/seal are 300699 and 376074. I want to know if I can replace that base part or does it come in a water pump kit?
